Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
Here are some questions that I hear around the community

Hi, I am Allan Hubley and I am running for re-election as Councillor for Kanata South. Since I was first elected to represent my community, I promised to focus on the lowest possible taxes, fiscal responsibility, core services and positive changes for Kanata South. I have always put the people in my community first in my 40 years of volunteering and serving in our community. That is not just a slogan for me, it is a promise to you that I deliver on every day.

I supported Lansdowne because it was an excellent example of leveraging tax dollars to get a better asset for the residents. The asset was depreciating at a rapid pace that was only going to get more expensive to repair or replace. We had an opportunity to work on enhancing this site with two of the greatest visionaries our city has known in Roger Greenberg and John Rudy, and they were willing to invest millions of their money in our city asset.
-
OC Transpo is consulting with users and operators to find new ways of delivering a more reliable service. They have added buses to our routes, created new ones and gone back in to make adjustments based on feedback from residents to me. The integrated transit service will continue to have challenges as we build onto to it but each step makes it better

The kindness of our community. Like other areas, we have haters on social media but where else would you witness regular citizens pushing back on their negativity and attempts to harm our community’s reputation and devalue your property, for example.
